Maiti Nepal was born out of a crusade to protect Nepali girls and women from crimes like domestic violence, trafficking for flesh trade, child prostitution, child labor and various forms of abuse, exploitation and torture.
Feature Studios has worked on multiple projects with Maiti Nepal. Our first project was to produce a documentary in collaboration with AWO International. Our team travelled multiple districts meeting and interviewing human trafficking victims, beneficiaries, police officials and local leaders.
Apart from this we also produced two short movies for Maiti Nepal under Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children (CSEC) project. The videos are included in curriculum of school children in human trafficking prone areas.
